Am Araucana

Where's the ham?

These are the eggs Bonnie and I bought at the farmer's market yesterday. They were delish. The shell seems thicker and the yolks much yellower.
I'm the decider and I decided they were yellower. And the flavor was more "more" like.
The two white eggs in the background are the traditional organic eggs we normally get from Berkeley Bowl. And by "we" I mean Bonnie. I can't go into Berkeley Bowl--too many damn hippies grazing on nuts and berries.

Do those egg-laying chickens eat corn?
Yesterday I had an egg-beater's cheese omelet. The egg beater is almost pure protein; with exception of a little over 100mg of sodium, artificial color, beta carotene, spices, onion powder, xanthan gum and guar gum added. I get part of my daily allowance of fat from the sharp-cheddar cheese - around 10g/oz.

With a side of Jimmy Dean mostly-pork sausage (3), another 24g of fat.

Now, that's gotta be healthy!
